Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD CAM) course covers the theory and basics of coding languages, structures, and the use of CAD CAM systems to generate and verify tool paths. This course aims to expose students to CAD and CAM operation integration, including object design, code production, tool path simulation for a machining operation, and generating NC part programming. This course also covers the application of CAD CAM software by transferring the NC program to a CNC milling/lathe machine or CNC milling/lathe simulator.
