Basic Aerodynamics covers the basic concepts of aerodynamics. The purpose of international standard atmosphere and basic aerodynamics terms are introduced. This is followed by the basic theory of flight, stability and lift augmentation, aircraft body construction, its instrumentation and the system that is required in its operation. The course will provide students with knowledge of basic aerodynamics based on scientific concepts and supplement the knowledge to be gained in the fundamentals of aircraft aerodynamics.
