INDUSTRIAL SAFETY AND HEALTH equips the students with the necessary principles of industrial safety and environmental issues in order to recognize the hazardous situation at the workplace and therefore prevent accidents.
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLO):
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. adapt the acts, regulations and the principles of industrial safety to create safe working environment (C3, PLO1)
2. determine appropriate hazards control as professional responsibility in promoting a culture of safety. (C4, PLO6)
